About this Event
Are you making your own bread at home? With the popularity of sourdough on the rise, many are turning to the baking expertise of Sarah Owens who won a James Beard award for her first book Sourdough and who offers more delicious and creative seasonal recipes in Toast & Jam and most recently Heirloom. She’ll be joined in conversation to discuss joys of sourdough baking and the benefits of heirloom grains by Andy Clark, owner of Moxie Bread Co in Louisville, CO (which has been giving out free sourdough starter) and the new Moxie Feed & Seed in North Boulder (where he mills his own heirloom grains).

IMPORTANT TICKETING AND EVENT INFORMATION!

*Tickets are $5 (plus a small convenience fee) for the access link to this virtual event. This access link will be sent the morning of the event (Thursday, July 23rd). You can purchase this on Eventbrite HERE.

* The virtual event begins at 4:00pm PST / 5:00 pm MST / 7:00pm EST and will last about one hour. If you would like to ask a question during the Q&A portion of the event, please email your question to publicity@roostbooks.com.

*All three of Sarah Owens's books, SourdoughToast & Jam, and Heirloom, are available as add-on items in Eventbrite for $5 off. *Book purchase does NOT include a ticket. Ticket purchase is required to purchase a book through Eventbrite*  Books purchased through Eventbrite are ONLY available for curbside pickup. Curbside pickup is available every day from noon until 4:30pm.

*The first 30 people who purchase access to the virtual event and a book will receive a book plate signed by Sarah Owens. Limit one signed book per customer.

*Books will be available for pickup on July 16th for all orders placed before July 15th, 5:00pm MST. If you place your order after this time, please call the store at (303) 447-2074 to confirm that your book is ready for pickup.
