Join John Lehndorff for this workshop on Food Writing for Food Professionals on Saturday, March 19th from *2-4:30pm*. This workshop will take place at the large table in the back of the Upper North Room, and space is limited.
About the Workshop:
Once upon a time, restaurants only needed to mail out press releases to food critics and media to attract attention. Now, food professionals face a digital landscape populated by blogs, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. As a culinary journalist, John Lehndorff has had a front row seat for the digital transformation of food media. He will offer tips about successfully creating a community and buzz for a taste-focused business. He will talk about blogging, phone food photography, writing recipes and menus and answer questions about how the Boulder/Denver food media world works on a practical level.
About John Lehndorff:
John has chronicled Colorado food since 1985 and was the food editor of the Daily Camera and dining critic at the Rocky Mountain News. He writes Nibbles for the Boulder Weekly, hosts Radio Nibbles on KGNU, and contributes features to Cheese Connoisseur Magazine, AAA EnCompass Magazine, Vail Beaver Creek Magazine, Produce Business and many others. A former restaurant cook, caterer and cooking teacher, John has helped market many events including the Taste of the Nation and the Great American Pie Festival.
Tickets are $40 and space is limited! Purchase tickets at the store or over the phone.
