On Thursday, March 19th at 6:00pm, listen in on KGNU Radio for an informational session on COVID-19, presented by Lolly Gardiner and Katherine Shives.
Lolly Gardiner is an experienced, certified biological safety professional with proven success leading technical services groups and programs. Her expertise is in biological safety, containment training and laboratory standard operating procedures. She has an extensive background in CDC, USDA and Department of Army biosafety regulations and implementation.
Katherine Shives holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Washington State University. In the past she has studied Nile virus and other viruses in a BSL-3 containment facility. She currently works for Sartorius Virus Analytics as a Research and Development Scientist and Biological Safety Officer.
