About the Event:
Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, has a plan to stop the corrupting influence of big money in politics. His grassroots campaign, Stamp Stampede, is legally rubber-stamping cash with anti-corruption slogans like “Not To Be Used For Buying Elections” and “Stamp Money Out of Politics.” In April 2018, the campaign surpassed 100,000 participants, who are helping to create a massive visual demonstration all across the country against big money in politics. Cohen, who intends to continue building momentum on this issue, has organized a Stamp Money Out Rally and Celebration in Boulder.
